Ashley is a LLMSW with a Master of Social Work in Interpersonal Practice and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Ashley brings a rich background in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and patient rapport-building from her past job experiences. Additionally, her internships and work provided her with experience in youth treatment programs, psychosocial assessments, and developing family safety plans. Her skills include motivational interviewing, individual and group counseling, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Ashley’s extensive knowledge and dedication makes her a valuable addition to our Behavioral Health team.
Outside of her professional life, Ashley has a passion for art—she enjoys painting, drawing, and expressing herself through poetry and public speaking. She finds joy in nature, especially being by the water, and has a love for traveling to new places.
